Comptroller, is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (M. Economics-1964, B.S. Mechanical Eng.-1963). He has twenty-five years of experience in International Finance which began with the development and long-term finance of private industrial activities in Iran for the Industrial and Mining Development Bank of Iran. He brought overseas investors to the country and was responsible for over $1.8 billion in loans and investments for more than 90 joint venture projects from 1964 to 1976. These projects also included three major industrial estates comprising infra-structure for over 60 industrial units with complete housing facilities for over 5000 employees. He continued to organize and act as director of financial institutions which specialized in the industrial growth of the country from 1976 to 1984. In 1985, he joined Carlyle Development Group. His responsibilities include direction, administration and control of the daily activities including liaison between investors, the principals of the firm and the firms institutional lenders.
