The property, a 543,000 sq.ft. enclosed regional mall, was acquired in September 2003, from an affiliate of Apollo Real Estate Advisors. The Class"A" mall is anchored by Sears, J.C. Penney, T.J. Maxx and The Bon Ton. At the time of its acquisition one of the mall's five (5) anchor spaces, a former Ames, was vacant, and the in-line occupancy rate was 60% . CDG's redevelopment plan included replacement of the vacant anchor space, aggressive leasing of the in-line spaces and redevelopment of the outparcels.
